The people of San Francisco will live and work in a city rich with engaged individuals, organizations and communities that work together to successfully respond to challenges and, as a result, build a stronger and healthier place to live, work and visit.

ResilientSF’s Mission

 ResilientSF advances San Francisco’s overall resilience by providing a framework, and road map, that coordinates plans, programs, resources and relationships that increase the capacity of individuals, organizations and communities to collectively solve problems and capture opportunities.

The ResilientSF Approach

Establishing a framework to advance resilience citywide requires a methodology that both connects a broad set of stakeholders to ResilientSF’s mission as well as coordinates their initiatives and programs in order to generate larger outcomes cumulatively for San Franciscans.

An Inclusive Mission

Inclusivity is a key element of  the ResilientSF initiative. By breaking resilience down into the following categories, ResilientSF hopes to offer stakeholder organizations from across all policy areas of San Francisco a self identified entry point:
